Fire Information System
Welcome to the Fire Information System: your digital support for designing, dimensioning, and assessing steel structures for fire safety. Assisted by various expert construction and fire safety organizations, Bouwen met Staal has compiled the relevant and up-to-date information on the fire safety of steel structures in this system and made it directly applicable to projects in practice.
Five project types
The system contains information on steel and fire safety for five project types:
offices under 70 m tall (such as banks, city halls, and commercial buildings with large offices);
halls (such as distribution centers, factories, garages, and commercial buildings with small offices);
houses and residential buildings (including detached villas and terraced houses);
high rise (utility and residential buildings taller than 70 m);
parking lots (open and closed parking garages).

Newsletter
With the digital newsletter ‘Steel. A fire-safe construction material’, Bouwen met Staal regularly issues updates regarding new Fire Information System components and current trivia on steel and fire safety.
